Yes, we caught some crappie by the bridge. But.... My cranking battery died in the middle of the lake. Then my trolling motor battery died about a half mile from the dock where I dropped in. A guy towed me to a restaurant dock and while waiting for my poor wife to bring me an extra battery and jumper cables, I slipped and fell in the lake. Trying to get the jump going I feel and banged my hand. The jump didn't work but I hooked it to the trolling motor, but then it died again, I turned around and tied up at a different marina. That marina was closed for the night, so I was locked in and had to slink out under a hole in the fence. My boat is still tied there quasi-illegally with most of my stuff on it and I'm waiting for my marina guy to get in to see if he can tow it and fix it. Not my best day on the lake! But at least while waiting at the restaurant dock for the jumper battery we caught a bunch of crappie and a trout. The crappie are biting -- little plastic jigs under slip bobbers, fatheads, even herring.
