The first year I'll have a boat for spring bite and I'll still be throwing the kayak in :p.

If this turns out to be true, they would be losing a TON of money. May-July there may be 10+ trailers there on any given night.

Does the State Park ramp close at sunset?

I know some other marinas are now locking down their ramps at night due to people sneaking their boats in and not paying.

A real hassle if you want to fish early or late.

Sportsman's access to public resources continue to be degraded in front of our very eyes.

I was over in the river styx area last week and saw a sign advertising a 24/7 launch. Cant remember the name of the place but its something.

The place by river stix is Johnny's Marina but if he's doing a 24/7 ramp access i think that's something new. I live by there so i'll check. You might have seen the sign for the apartment complex over there because if you live in it i think they offer the 24/7 ramp access. I'll check about johnny's.

Hope Johnny's pulls through. Only way forward through this mess of public limitations is for business like this to see the opportunity. Like the Mother wants us all to sit in front of a screen all day and get told.

Just checked, johnnys isn't the place offering 24/7 ramp access, it's the apartment building haha. You'd have to live there.

lakes end marina is charging 30 bucks for launch. i was told that they are trying to keep people away because they have too much going on. i do not know if they let people launch after hours.

All the way in the back, too. Have a squareback canoe. I'm just sort of looking to launch somewhere near where night walleyes and hybrids cruise, use the electric on a calm night, and of course, not go very far. (Well lit too, have portable running lights--an electric is a vulnerable proposition on that lake.) Not even sure I'll have time, but the possibility has haunted my mind for years.

you need a ramp? or just cartop launch, pm me if you want cartop launches, there are 2-3 depending on water level and time of year.

I just called Lee's. I spoke to a nice guy who said the night launch ban is a total rumor. The ramps will be open for business as usual.

Yeaaaa buddy. Good deal. They make a decent nut with night launches regardless of a few d bags who don't pony up. Closing up at night during peak season would be a net negative for them. Just like Daniel Murphy was for the mets lol

Have a squareback canoe. Better stick very very very close to shore. Almost died up there a few times with the drunks and their 28 foot SeaRays go blasting around the lake at night !!

This past summer they put cameras in, saw them being installed, to nab those that do not pay. Big brother will get you.
