Stainless hose clamps??

That's 100% stainless which would include the screw.

Likely many(not all just the cheaper ones) are 100% Chinese made SS that does rust.

Remember double them up as a matter of practice.

That's the point of the post. McMaster Carr has 100% 316SST (which includes the screw), but I was looking for local. Figured it's a common marine application.

I carry many sizes of clamps on my service truck made by World Class AWAB. These are 316 Stainless that feature a smooth inside band with rolled band edges to eliminate the risk of damage to the hose while providing superior clamping force. Not cheap by any means but you don't what cheap on a boat, especially below the waterline.
