Kinda depends on how much money you want to spend. I got a Saltiga 15 for bottom fishing and I won't tell my wife what it cost. :D

A lot of people like the maxell hybrid too

Or you could find a used jigmaster.

Lots of choices. My one recommendation is to get a star drag, not a lever for bottom fishing.

I use Both a star drag as well as a lever drag.
I personally like the lever drag alot more for blackfishing really ruff stuff
Both reels are made in the Penn fathom series.
I like the reels in the sizes 15 and 25 narrow.
good drags and smooth as silk

Penn Fathom excellent reels , I would personally use the 15 however if I u like wreck fishing as well 25N Fathom .
These r star drags , some may prefer lever I've used both like star for bottom wreck fishing etc.

I use a Saltiga 20, I lie about what it cost, but it is excellent for bottom fishing.

What's your budget and do you prefer lever drag or star drag?

Good choice. If you're using braid, go with the tiny bit smaller fathom 12. You won't be disappointed... You shouldn't have a problem finding them on sale right now too during show season!
