What is your favorite go to Gulp for fluke?. I go with the white 4" swimming mullet in the bay and 5" glow mullet or 4" new penny shrimp in the ocean. I am sure we all have a preference and would like to hear what you have to say.

Detour,

You can't go wrong with the big Gulp grubs to provide action. In 2015, the go to color seemed to be Nuclear Chicken. I also like the White grubs, but some I people I fish with have luck with the Pink Shine as well.

Tight Lines!

5" white mullet if I can only carry one gulp, it'll catch numbers and size.

6" grub to weed out smaller fish (though I've caught 8" fluke on it), and 5"/6" jerk shads for shallow flats fun on 1/4 oz jigheads.

The color that I have on my line at that moment.
Every color in the gulp grub line up catches fish better than another on a given day.
many times it just matching the bait to the type of forage the fluke are tuned into .

its well worth having a mix of colors in the box

I've gone through sessions where the preferred color changed every 30 minutes...same, repeated drift, different colors will outcatch 10 to 1. Glad I had every Gulp color with me that day!

Generally though, profile and action seems to be a bigger factor than color in my experience.

I'll use the 4" swimming mullets in white, chartreuse, pink and new penny early in the year when fishing RB. I'll move up to the 5 and 6" grubs as the water warms and when fishing the ocean adding nuclear chicken and pink shine to my color array.

I'll also use the 4" shrimp in New penny in the back bay and rivers or when I see fluke spitting up grass shrimp. There are also times I'll fish the GULP mantis shrimp.

Either 5in swimming mullets or the grubs. I really only fish white, glow, and pink shine
