 Hey Skip, I just saw an article on the internet that poses the question: Who is tougher, a Fisherman, or a Hunter"?
 Oh yeah, I know the guy who wrote that. In fact he sent his research to me to have it fact checked, and he's right. After all, it was on the internet!;)
:D OK, aren't you going to tell me?
 Well lets give the others a chance to join in. As acting commissioner of the "Council of Tough Sportsmen" I can only except answers that explain in a sentence or two as to why picked one or the other.
:D is the answer written in stone?????
 No, the answer is written on the water!:;)

Kevin good point. But you miss the more important concern... that being who would win a fight Rocky or Rambo. LMAO

More fake news. Ask some clown his opinion and that is news?

Depends on what type of fishing and what type of hunting. Gotta compare apples to apples.

I have your solution for biggest bad-ass sportsman. . . the SpearFisherman wins, hands down.

Need proof? Give it a try.

that's a good answer, and actually proves my point. A friend built his own spear gun, looks very fancy. I saw him free dive 28' of water and twice come up with big fish. Proof, give it a try? RIGHT,looks like its a challenge. You are constantly swimming, holding a 7-8 lb spear gun[maybe you can verify the weight of the gun], and you don't even think about how physical it all is, because, you like doing it.
A hunter walks out into the woods, carries a 12 lb rifle around all day, climbs a tree, climbs back down, drags a 150-200 lb deer out of the woods, and had a great day.
The fisherman looks at a fishing rod and says, it must be "lightweight and sensitive" I was never a math major, and I guess that's because I never understood why a fishing rod that weighed an additional 2 oz. makes any difference? I think the hunter wins.

I'd have to go with a spearfisherman but only free divers. If you have a tank then it's like being in a tree stand over a clover patch.

Also, the ocean can kick your ass better than the forest.
