Hey gang, Capt. Scott here. We are the only boat to sail out of Atlantic Highlands today. We have a nice crowd of 20 customers today including Ben and the boys, a lot of Prowler regulars. We have a huge swell out on the ocean. My first drop in 70 feet produced only a couple of short tog with not much life. I talked to my buddy Bobby Quinn of the Ocean Explorer today on the phone. He's out also and suggested to try deep water wreck in 95 feet of water where me and him caught big tog a couple of weeks ago. P.S. Don't forget about our tog-a-thon on Sat. 1/21/17, leaving 7:00 a.m. returning 4:00 p.m. Call for reservations 732-245-6514. Also, I'm limiting this trip to 35 passengers. I already have a couple of people that have signed up. I will also be pushing the petal to the metal - 23 knots to make up for that extra half hour on the way out. I'll post photos later this afternoon with a follow up report about our move to the deeper water.

Hey gang, here's the follow up report. I fished my ass off today. I made six drops, deep water, a couple of wrecks in 95 feet. We were doomed from the start - a giant roll on the ocean this morning. I spoke with two of the Belmar Captains on the phone and Greg on the Ocean Eagle out of NY, Greg was fishing with a couple of his buddies today and it was tough. Anyway, not a lot of keepers on the boat, short action wasn't really that great either. Fished one wreck were I released 60 to 70 conga eels. I hope the ocean lays down, which I think it will for tomorrow's trip (Fri.) For Saturday's trip, I'm going to fish a couple of mudhole wrecks in like 155 to 95. Me and Marko and Dustin will be back at it tomorrow to give it hell. I already have reservations for this Saturday, don't miss out. I'll see you 5:30 a.m. for coffee. Thx., Capt. Scott
