Rock Bottom FRI 1/6 Blackfish

Today we had out Eddie, Joe tuna tales and a few other guys out. Decided to hit a new area because our last few trips were crap. Had really nice life from the start thru the morning, and lost what looked like a big fish right at the start. Had a steady pick of keepers and shorts-few dogs mixed in, nice to have good life. By late morning/early afternoon it died off. Worked the area a little and then made 1 move and worked that piece. Never were able to get a bite going again but they guys managed to end up just 2 shy of their limit. Eddie was HH today (of course) using a jig all day and had 11.

Well the last trip I was HH on the Belmar slider rig. Eddie was HH on this trip with the jig. I might have to give jigging a try.
