Saturday Offshore Report
Starting January 7th
Offshore Trips
Cod - Pollock - Jumbo Porgies - Ling
After January 1st the Jamaica will sail every Saturday at 2AM for Cod, Pollack, and Jumbo Porgies and Ling.
The weather gods smiled upon us today. When we left the dock the winds were behind us but, were blowing 25 and gusting over 30. The forecast was for diminishing winds and the weatherman was right!
By the time we arrived on the grounds, the wind had dropped down, the Seas were calm, and the Sea Bass were hungry!
Anglers caught fish everywhere we fished and we wound up with a boat limit of Giant Sea Bass, a few Porgies, Bluefish and a couple of hake.
The pool winners were:
Erdal Abdulou from Garfield, NJ with a 6.5lb sea bass.
Ron Wingo from Bradley Beach, NJ with a 6lb Sea Bass.
Both with limits of Sea Bass.
A few of the other passengers that caught there limit were:
Bill Effing from Bensalem PA,
Greg Peacock from Norminster, PA,
Paul Fiest from Sayreville, NJ,
The Rob McCarter party of four from Millsboro, NJ,
Juan Olivaros from Virginia,
Hector Luna from Elizabeth, NJ
