Just wanted to extend a personal thanks to Tom T (Ttmako) on our board here for going above and beyond on for the Fluke Regulations fight. Tom, I and others have been corresponding in the background and he has really jumped in and stepped up to the plate here.

Tom created the petition on change.org that you've seen here and on facebook.

He created a "Save fluke fishing" Facebook group page

Tom and a few friends plan to personally go out a deliver hard copy petitions to all local fishing related businesses.

He plans to staff booths at the upcoming fishing shows to secure more petition signatures.

Being involved is great, being committed is another.... Sort of like a bacon and egg breakfast. The chicken is involved but the pig is committed :D:D

Thanks for jumping in here Tom. Your can do attitude is contagious and an inspiration to me and a lot of others.

Ditto: I can speak on behalf of myself and RFA-NJ Chapter that we appreciate Tom's effort on this . I sent Tom a personal Thanks as well.
Also THANKS to YOU Gerry for all that you are doing. This site is such a great tool to get a movement started.
Its really nice trading ideas and emails with passionate fishermen who care enough to go the extra yard when needed.
Hopefully we get this overturned

My pleasure.
It's not like going from 8 fish to 5.
Going from 5 down to 2 will destroy neighbors and friends.
It certainly isn't helping the fishery.
In Baltimore, it dawned on me they have been "managing" this fishery for over decades.
We need to have the combination of bottoms up as well as high level political pressure way above my pay grade.
So all im doing is picking the low hanging fruit.
