Hey gang, Capt. Scott here. We had a fair amount of customers aboard today. We were on our way out heading across our bay when Capt. George of the Angler called me on the radio and asked me if I had my machine on. I told him yes, read a ton of bait. He told me to watch out for whales. It was about two minutes later - I don't know what kind of whale it was - but it was big. It came completely out of the water, twice. I've been seeing these whales the past couple of weeks. But this is the first time I saw one come completely out of the water. Pretty cool. Anyway, I made three drops today in 55 to 70 feet. Saw short action with some nice keepers. High hook was three keepers, up in the bow again. Others with two keepers and others with one. We had one Jr. on the boat today, his name is Hudson, nailed two keeper tog on the last drop of the day. The ocean was fine today, but the bad news is that we will not be lighting up tomorrow (Thurs.) or Fri. It's supposed to be windy and raining for tomorrow and then gale force winds for Friday. But the good news is that Saturday and Sunday we'll be going. It will be nice conditions and we have customers coming down over the weekend. We fished green crabs and white leggers today. Here are pics. from today. Thx., Capt. Scott
