Stripers

I have read a few reports of stripers in and around the RB. What's with that? Are they still migrating stripers? Or do they winter in these waters? Are they in numbers?

It seems reports of the end of striper season were premature. Now they get to swim around with almost nobody bothering them. Go procreate in peace and we'll see you in the spring.

There was a blitz on Christmas Eve around 3 P.M. around the 500 block in Sea Bright. My wife said "don't even think about it". Oh well.

Yes the Bass Bite with Capt Chad was Insane to say the least.
Blue Herring being destroyed by Thousands of Birds. Easily a half mile wide of Birds crashing.
Bass on every cast Jigging..... the bass which were being reeled in were being chased to the top of the water by other bass....
Mojos getting slammed just dangling off the back corner of the boat.... feet from the boat....Mojo Doubles.... Mayhem
I have never experienced anything like it. LOL

1/4 mile patch of diving gannets off the highlands bridge yesterday @ noon...Not in casting range; but not a boat on emm either....
