Plugging Rod and Reel

Any thoughts on a new plugging rod and reel combo? A friend's wife wants to get one for her hubby for Christmas.

I have a CTS 11 foot vapor trail paired with a ZB 25 that is a phenomenal combo and I sometimes use my VS 150 with it. The rod is a rocket launcher.

The CTS s7 is a nice rod as well
