Today we had out Eddie and a few buddies from Middlesex county corrections as well as his uncle Joe Tuna Tales. Headed back to the area we've been fishing and set ourselves up hoping the blow from the last few days did something to the fish. Took a little while to get the first fish/keeper had a couple shorts but not impressed. Made a tiny wiggle and were able to stay put the rest of the day. Once the fish turned on early we had steady action for an hour or so and then it fell off, but not too bad. After that the fish came in flurries. Biggest fish was close to 8lbs, no huge ones and still had to grind them out with an off bite but it has definitely gotten a little better since last weekend, so it's headed in the right direction. Jigs also paid off today as well! Although HH was Joe with a belmar slider at 18 keepers himself!! Once we had our boat limit we played catch and release for a while. Jr went down for 15-20 minutes after we had our limit with the jig and had 5 keepers himself to 7.5lbs releasing them all.
We are chartered tomorrow but still have 4 openings for Sunday with whiteleggers included and jigs onboard! Give us a call 7328415041
