FISH STIX - Blackfish Reports & Updates

[Fish Stix]

Hey Guys and Gals,

Here's a quick update since blackfish opened on 11/16.

Fishing has been a complete GRIND. I'm sure you've all heard, just a tough scratchy not committed bite. BUT THE FISH ARE THERE!

We have had some decent trips and when I say decent I mean when the guys bust their asses to catch them. We've had a couple charter limits and only one boat limit so far :( . Like I said, tough fishing. We did see some better life on Monday late in the day and we caught a couple dozen nice roasters. But the average catch has been roughly 18 keepers (some more then that, and some less) or so for a 6 man crew.

We've caught some nice fish over 10lbs. 2 over 10, another was over 11, and one over 12 so far. Nothing crazy but nice to see some big fish on these stressful days. Gets everyone's blood pumping.

Had to bail Tuesday, Wednesday and we decided to let them rest one more day. So we'll be back out tomorrow and every other day the weather allows us.

One way to look at it is, the bite can't get much worse. Need the water temp to drop a bit more and I think it'll be game on. I've got high hopes!
