RockBottom Sat blackfish

Saturday we had Walter, one of our regulars, charter the boat for some black fishing with his friends. After the first few days being up and down we were hoping for a real good day, especially with the blow coming Sunday and Monday. Headed out to where we've been fishing and once the sun came up they started to bite. Had some ok fishing some shorts and it progressively got better. Started boxing up some keepers a few shorts mixed in and then like a light switch it completely stopped. We sat for almost an hour without a bite/nibble/sniff hoping for them to turn back on. We had enough and took a ride. Got there had a few hits but not much. We headed to a last ditch spot which paid off for us. We had some hits and a couple missed, still a little slow, and the guys were ready to call it. Decided to finish up a few cut crabs and then the fish decided to turn on and start chewing. The guys decided to stay a little while longer and were able to box up their limit. Biggest fish went 6lbs nothing huge yet but it's still early.
Cancelled today due to the weather

We have 2 spots available Thursday, thanksgiving, and will be back by 12. And 1 spot left for Saturday for blackfish
