Golden Eagle - JUMBO BLUES & STRIPERS ARE BITING

We had a GOOD day of fishing for JUMBO BLUES with STRIPERS mixed in. We caught lots of live bait and the STRIPERS and BLUES were biting. We were in close to the beach where there was a lot of action with both the STRIPERS and JUMBO BLUES splashing on top. We had STRIPERS up to 25 lbs. and the JUMBO BLUES were HUGE. The live bait was by far the most productive but we did have a few on swim shads.

Tomorrow’s weather looks good so NOW is the time to come fishing for STRIPERS and JUMBO BLUES and get in on the action.

Yeah, they must have snapped that after I stopped whining about the 25 run offs I missed. These fish were unbelievable! Wait the "proper" amount of time, meaning run off speeds up and/or feel the chomp and slack line, Poof! No fish. Set the hook quicker next time, Poof, no fish. Lol, and that was between the times where the bass would deftly and gently unhook you bunker with the slightest of bumps and of course the blue bite offs. Hot and long as that bite was, you really had to work to get a fish to the boat.
