day 1: Fishing was insane for about 2 hours, birds concentrated and the fish going nuts for the shad cast to them, sometimes near surface, sometimes near bottom. It slowed down around 10, but fish could still be picked from roaming pods til about 12 when it died completely.

Day 2 (sunday): The bite was way off from day 1, but we picked fish all day (there was no real window bite) Missed probably a dozen bumps/hits each this day vs. 1-2 each the other day. Lost 5-6 fish each on the fight as well vs. zero the other day...bite was def off. they just weren't taking the lures as good, maybe a different lure or color would've worked better idk.

Birds were all over the bay on peanut bunker and i even saw some on full sized bunker believe it or not. Had to work hard for the fish casting swimbaits, but plenty were caught, though about half of them were small schoolies the other half were split between slot sized fish and also a bunch of nice 28-32 inch keeper sized beauties. We got back to the marina before the rain but couldn't quite finish cleaning the boat before we got all wet haha.

Nice looking fish. I saw you guys working the flats Sunday around 1:30pm. We had no luck in the shallow water.

they were just picky as hell. if there were birds hovering, fish were there. some small but some nice keepers too. they wanted the lures dribbled on the bottom.
