For those interested my man Mike's day in court has finally arrived and the scumbag will face the music....Lady Di will be testifying on the first day and can use the support..

I hope this brings some closure and justice to his family and to the fishing / towns / sports community he served with passion. I am sure this guy will get what he deserves as this was apparently not his first murder but hopefully his last.

The worst thing is that with our ****ed up criminal justice system they will offer him a plea bargain that is not fair by any means. Instead of getting 30 years to life they will give him 15-20 years. And his public defender since we all know he doesnt have the money for a real lawyer, will take the offer. And he gets off with the lesser sentence.

First degree crimes

The court can impose a basic prison sentence between 10 and 20 years or between 20, 25 or 30 years and life for certain crimes, such as murder. The court can also fine the person convicted of a first degree crime up to $200,000.

All they want is money, it really is disgusting.

my thoughts and prayers for mike's family at this time as i know it will not be pleasant but my prayers are that justice is served and this monster gets everything he deserves.

a WTF UPATE....

geez..... well first day...judge throws a couple jurors off the trial in the morning so have to pick some more, then at 1245 the court house is evacuated.... needless to say day one will be Thursday 11-3 at 1pm if they sit a jury

My Opinion...its as Mikey turn to **** with people :p

Our justice system is really screwed up.... between the judges nonsense,and I'm sure he wasn't assigned this case last night and the continued delays by the defense, and the no clue by the prosecutor's this case may not even start now till NEXT Wednesday NOV 9 ...will keep all posted...
