Went out around the hook, drifted the rip tonight with eels. Not a bite. Marked endless bait, but there was not much surface action going on either. Bay was smooth as glass as it got later. Back at it tom.

I was plugging sandy hook last night from shore. Got no fish, and saw no bait. Guess I'll have to wait a few weeks.

Fish the bay side Leonardo to Port Monmouth. Was out last night for 2 hours before dark and had non stop action of schoolie bass to 22 inches on poppers. Blowing up on peanuts all over the place.

Nice! I had a bunch of smaller under 20" schoolie's in the Shrewsbury yest.
