The weather has really been holding everyone back, so not many reports. But that looks like it will change real soon. It is still early to catch stripers in the ocean but it will be any day now. Because of the weather I have not done much. But did get out last night in the Manasquan River and was able to have some fun. There were a lot of small bass jumping in the lights off the docks and the lights off the larger boats. But they were small and not that easy to catch. And we were there when it was slack tide. But as soon as the tide started moving we were getting hits. And finally caught one. It just made the size limit but it swallowed the lure so deep it had no chance anyway. We were using real light tackle and having fun. It started getting late and I had taken my friend and a couple of his kids so it was time to leave just when it started to get hot. Take a look at my web site and start making your reservations for Stripe Bass fishing Joeytomato'sfishingcharters.com or call me at 732-684-8739 Captain Joe
