Looking to head out tonight and do some surf fishing for stripers.. Does anyone have a good surf report?

It's hit or miss but some are being caught in the surf the hour before 1st light this week, even a keeper or 2, using Storm Shads.. Good Luck!! :)

Looks like it's picking up D. Lots of schoolies showing up in the river day and night and some nice keepers being caught by boats at night..

Bait is on the move, days getting shorter, water getting cooler so looks like our season is just getting underway.

Was talking to a friend who has people up in RI and the fishing is off the charts up there right now.... Supposedly the best they've seen in years and all 30 plus pound fish... Won't be long till those fish head south and hopefully show up in our area and put on the feed bag.

The surf has been slow, but like others had said....it's been a hit and miss. Right now I'm just having fun catching baby togs , that's the only fun from the surf till the massive bass show up and hopefully dont by pass us.

Correct, sir! My father has been crushing bass off montauk and off of RI the last few weeks by boat. With everything being closed aside from bass and porgies he doesn't really have a choice lol. I think the surf guys out east are doing well too. The run is underway!
