Mushin Sportfishing

MUSHIN had Ralph G's group ready to go Sat/Sun, but we got pushed back a day due to Sat's weather. Ran to the south on Sun looking for the temp break that held fish earlier in the week before winds - finally found it from 74 to 76. Late afternoon troll produced a couple of mahi, but we knew these guys wanted to JIG TUNAS! Kept looking and found good signs of life, but still no tuna on the troll by dark. We put it on the drift at dark, and had a nice 150# class sword up almost right away but pulled the hook. A couple hours later, a 130# class sword gets boated, and a night time chunked white marlin to the boat. Drifting into 79 degree water, we had lots of squid, porpoise, flying fish...and finally tuna! A wide-open bite happened on 70-75# tuna - this was jig fishing time - we could only keep three jig rods going - all hooked up constantly - for nearly two hours.By the time the dust settled, the guys had both Henriques fish boxes packed out and the guys were wiped out.
