We banged away at the BIG BLUES today. This morning started off dreary and wet with some mist and little bit of wind but it didn’t affect the ocean that much and the day turned out nice. We headed out offshore to the reef which hadn’t been checked in a few days and when we got out there we started catching fish right away. It was pretty steady fishing all day. We caught some nice BIG BLUES ranging from 10 lbs to 18 lbs. The big fish are settled in on the reef out there and it looks like there are a lot of fish around. They moved in behind that storm we had last week. We look forward to some really good fishing. The BLUES were caught on Run Off hammer jigs and bait or however you wanted to fish for them.
We will be off Tuna fishing tomorrow (Monday) and ready to go back to the BLUES on Tuesday. So come on down Tuesday morning and enjoy a day fishing for BIG BLUES.
The GOLDEN EAGLE sails every day for STRIPERS & BLUES at 7:30 am from Belmar Marina in Belmar, NJ.
