I was at Great Kills Sunday at sunrise.

The fall has begun. Wave after wave - millions of peanuts were heading all in the same direction.... South

Bluefish ranging from small to alligator were exploding on them. Caught a bunch.. Almost lost a rod.

Oh...
and i caught a 22" fluke - season closed in NY

It figures....

We're u fishing from boat or surf?? Ive lost a rod to a big blue.. I hope my lesson was learned!!

Blues in the wash @Sandy Hook @5AM chasing small peanuts...all you could catch...Wednesday I will be going south toward Asbury..tired of low water from all of the beach sand in the wash..checked out the other beaches today and they seem to be fine...see 'ya all later, Robbie

Fished Ashbury today on my friends boat, birds, DOLPHINS and blues especially in the inlet busting right out of the water.. and i had a porgy rig go figure lol. Good luck denis

Beach..... blues were crashing 3ft from shore and off the beach as well


I actually caught the rod as both the rod and sand spike started flying towards the bay...
very lucky.... nice St. Croix Stick
