Fishing today was not that good. Will kept us moving to find the fish but it was a slow pick. I got the first keeper so I took home the dollar fish prize. Dad had a rough day. Dropped some real nice fish. So lets say he wasnt to happy. One fish had his heavy rod doubled over and taking drag on the avet. It was a BIG fish. Heart breaking what they drop. I dropped down on one of the drifts and got hammered. Set the hook and knew i had a good one on. Called Ryan and he came running. Got the fish to the boat and he scooped it right up. Came out to be a fat 5.7 pounder. Nice fish. The rest of the day was a slow pick of shorts. More skates caught today. Dad and I were lucky and never got one. It was also an expensive day. We lost a good amount of jigs. Had to run to the bait shop when we got back and re-load. But I ended the day with the 2 keepers. Dad didnt get any keepers today which is not like him at all. He was pissed. Haha. The pool fish beat me by 2oz. Sucks. We will be back at it tomorrow. Not looking good for the weekend. Saturday is gonna blow hard and same with Sunday. So might be the last day for Fluke for us. Going to have to go out with a bang.
