With NY fluke season closed I wanted yo check out our beach and and weny on a search and destroy mission, Conditions were not the best but I traveled a lot of miles and never found the promised land. A few fish inshore but no drift and where i found some nice keepers offshore we were loosing to many rigs to stay there.Had some nice sea bass including a 24 inch 6 1/2 pound beauty that went back. Ray Slodowski from Toms river had a nice 6 pound fluke to win his second pool this week.
Tons of bait in our bay and the fluke are moving. I spoke to the 1/2 daay boats and the had their best day since Hermine.
3 days left and we sail at 7:00 AM first boat out.
BIG POOL $4900 AND IT ONLY TAKES ONE.
Bill Karg was out again today and as he left the boat he suggested I switch to porgies and laughed..
Thanks captain George
