Tuna fishing has been almost non existent the past week so we started the trip putting about 50 mahi in the boat. Any pot you went to was loaded with fish anywhere from 2 pounds to 10 pounds. The group had a blast playing with these fish for a few hours. When they were fed up with that we put the blue marlin spread out hoping to have one around with all the small mahi. No luck so we switched over to bigeye and trolled until 10:30pm, again with no luck. We swordfished overnight and boated one around 100lbs at 2am. Released two other pups. At 4:30 we went in and set up in the square chunking HEAVY til 7am without a touch then headed home. Good weather and a great crew.
