Party Boat Angler Thursday report

It was nice to be off for a few days and nice to be back on the fluke grounds. We `had a nice bunch of Angler regulars out today and we found some keepers for them. The morning was the best yet we had some keepers closer to home at the end of the day. John from Jersey City had the first keeper of the day omn our first drift. A 5 to 6 pound fluke that took the dollar pool for the first fish and the daily pool. A good keeper ratio of around 1 to 3 and we had one good knuckle of keepers where we caught a dozen keepers. Overall not good fishing but I think it will only get better. Most had at least a keeper today. The fluke have not left and I would like to see some cold weather to push them along and out of the shallows. Only 17 days left and we have not had the good exit fishing.
