I know the eddies came in last week and finally had great tuna fishing off our local canyons. Now, it appears we will have 4-5 days of Hernine's influence directly over and just to the east of our canyons. Based upon where the Gulf Stream has been all season, I would have to guess this creates and incredible push of water along our shelf lines/canyons.
Welcome the thoughts of anyone who has seen the affects of the tropical weather pushing gulf water west. Can't imagine we have ever seen a tropical system literally park itself for days this close to our canyons and Gulf Stream influences. We have a lot of experience viewing and posting on this board and are heading into prime time canyon fishing.
