Hit one of my favorite fluke spots to find no drift whatsoever today. But I found lots of these!

I was on a non sponsor brooklyn party boat catching porgies today.
there was a huge makeshift live well in the stern - to keep porgies alive???
but anyway, i watched 2 of those swim around all day. They were pretty big - like 3-4 lbs.
You can cross off banded rudder fish.
If you look up a guide to identifying jacks.......Its very hard to distinguish between greater amberjack , lesser amberjack and WTF???
Why do i care so much?

Pretty cool. The difference between the 3 is subtle. I don't know enough about them to distinguish. How big was it? Bet it was fun catching on a fluke set up!

'Bout as much fun to catch as those goggle eyed macks currently infesting our waters. They were here last year when I bumped into a school of them followed by a school of the above mentioned macks. Some daily double that was weeding through those in search for albies.
