Just a quick note to let everyone know that our fall mullet run is about to start on the beaches here in south Florida, specifically South Hutchinson Island . If anyone is going to be in the Fort Pierce/Port St Lucie area between now and the month of October and want some information, let me know. The species that will be invading our beaches will be snook, tarpon, blacktip and spinner sharks, big jack crevalles, Spanish mackerel, bluefish, and ladyfish. Good luck

Since you mentioned Hutchinson Island I will ask your advice.....
I'll be there the second week in November. What are your recommendations for fishing then? Are there party boats? Any charter recommendations? Shore fishing? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

RC, The Daymaker run by Capt. Pat Price is one of the best charter boats down here. If you contact Fred Ciamoto at The Snook Nook bait and tackle shop in Jensen Beach, he can give you all the info on the boat. The Lady Stuart party boat runs out of the Marriott on Hutchinson Island on a daily basis . November is the start of the pompano run on the beach and last November we had excellent fishing. Along with the pompano, bluefish, Spanish mackerel, whiting, Jack crevalle, croaker, and ladyfish will all be in the mix. I work at Bass Pro Shops in Port St Lucie and do all of their surf fishing seminars and report for the local papers concerning surf fishing on a weekly basis. If you want to try the surf I will be happy to meet you up there and fish one day . I usually fish on the beach 4 to 5 days a week. I'm happy to help a fellow Jerseyite. I fished with Eddie Mackin, aka, Bunker Dunker, for years and Ed and his whole family are close personal friends. My cell is 6099038243. Feel free to contact me, Paul Sperco
