I guess you already know from the lack of reports it was a tough day on the ocean. it was nasty with the east wind and se roll from the hurricane off shore.
The drift was not to bad but the swell killed the bite. I fished a lot of areas for only a few fish before i headed to our bay for calm water. i figured if we weren't catching much we might as well do it in calm water. Well although it wasn't good it was much better than the ocean or other reports I had. Tony amotta from Westchester had the pool fish and a few lucky anglers had a couple keepers. We also had a ribbon fish.

7:00 AM first boat out.

No gallet tomorrow.

BIG POOL $4260

thanks Captain George

Thanks for the honest report and also the balls to be the only boat on this forum to post a fluke report from yesterday. I heard the fishing sucked and was wondering what was going to be posted.

Boston Pete agree totally.

Everyone runs to the keyboard by mid day sometimes or even live to post the good reports, but I guess they'd rather see patrons make plans and get sucked into trips before posting the bad ones?

What happen is this: You party boats/charters post all the time so people begin to expect it even if not going fishing, but to simply read what the pros do. So when regular reports dissappear when the fluke bite dies, it doesn't look so ethical.

I've heard about a lot of boats getting skunks or terrible catches last couple days without the stones to report. Don't worry when they catch, it will be on here loud and proud.

Much credit to Party Boat Angler
