Jack my dad and I left the dock at 645 and ran right back to the fluke grounds. Fishing was tough to start. The bite where we had been fishing the past week was non existent! Tough start. Ran out to some rough bottom and after losing a couple jigs pulled the plug and went exploring. Found a nice patch of fish and continued to drift over them slowly but surely filling the box. No hogs today, the size was nowhere near as m good as it has been. Biggest fish was 23 inches. Most keepers were 18.5-19 inches. Pink shine did the most damage as normal. Stayed shallow for a change today. 48 feet of water seemed to be the magical depth. Lots and lots of shorts. Good action and more big bags of fillets.
