So, headed down to Atlantic Highlands in the early am. Met up with a friend of mine and aboard the fishermen we went. I have 2 words about the day. SOUTH WINDS. We were in some nasty swells all day. Capt Ron did EVERYTHING IMAGINABLE to try to get us on some fish. We ran all over. I've never seen Capt work so hard in such terrible conditions. It was just a really tough day. I ended up with 2 keepers... One was about 4 1/2 #. It was the pool fish for all of about 20 seconds before Larry brought up a nice 6#. Great... No, amazing effort today by Capt Ron & Mike & Brian. Truth in reporting.... I was high hook with 6 fish:eek:
