Reel Class

Had Pete A. and crew on today for a bottom trip.
Real nice conditions with the NW wind made it a comfortable ride and comfortable on the anchor.
Caught fish from start to finish, while only making a few wiggles and experiencing no real lulls. Mostly porgies, but also lots of undersized seabass, a few taylor sized blues, and just one trigger. Fishing was basically drop and reel ALL DAY LONG.
For the day we boated somewhere over 500 porgies, keeping 205 of the "no doubt" keepers. There were quite a few shorts, and quite a few right on the mark or just under it that went back. I think everyone in the crew had at least a few double headers if not more, and everyone caught loads of fish. We also had 1 keeper seabass and one smaller triggerfish for the box, as well as 6 taylor sized blues.
It was a great day of CATCHING with a great crew!
Our next OPEN porgy trip will be next Wednesday 8/24 -- we have 2 spots open on that trip :)
