Hey guys going camping with a bunch of families at big timber campground next week. I'm looking to take the kids ( there's a bunch) fishing and maybe crabbing during the week. Do any of you guys have any recommendations for a party boat or a larger charter for fluke in the area? And any tips o. Where we can go crabbing in the area or some where we can rent a pontoon boat? Any and all input is appreciated. Thanks

I have been fishing the Cape May area for 30 years now and the Fluke bite is horrible right now. Capt John on the Unreal is a good guy and captain but there is no way you are going to get a bunch of kids on his boat as it is small. I do not take more than 6 anglers on my boat so I am not trying to get a charter plus we are tuna fishing and only do inshore shark trips for 6 or less when we get blown out on our offshore trips. The best option is a 4 hour or longer headboat for $25.00 or less for kids and bottom fish for kingfish which are running really good now. The Cape May Lady can take 40-50 people and do these 4 hour trips and that might work for your group of kids. There are heads in the Cape May but I do not really keep up with them as they are mostly based in Wildwood.
