Had a full crew on for today's fluke trip.
Early on things were very tough as we had a N current butted up against a light SW wind. We had zero drift and the water was filthy dirty. First few hours we only had a couple shorts, then we finally found a little pile and "carpet bombed" a small area for a while picking some nice keepers and some shorts. That dried up after the tide change so we went looking and found little more life and still crappy drifting conditions with wind against current. We were basically drifting into the wind.
Made some more moves as we finished the day and found some shorts and a couple more keepers. Last keeper of the day was a nice 5# er by Tommy.
Tough day, 13 keepers + about 50 shorts as well as a couple seabass. Conditions definitely didn't help today!
