Was wondering what most spinnng reels are set up with. I use 30# power pro and attach 25# tippet without a swivel

My light spinner has 10# braid and I fish up to 2oz with that rod. It's good for covering bottom by casting when there is little drift. With 10# braid you can hold bottom in 70' of water with 2oz

wow thats really light. any wind knot issues. Or does your braid break before your tippet does if you get hung up ?

See that's what I personally always do. Main line heavier or equal to the top shot. Flukin I'm 30 pp to 25 or 30 top shot, then on a lighter set-up 20 pp to 20 or 15 top.
