Thursday fluking on The Fisherman

Got to play a little hooky from work today, so I took the boy fishing and WHAM!!! A very nice day on the water. Capt Ron and crew were top notch as always, and Capt Ron put us on the fish right away!! A steady dose of action all day with plenty of shorts and and nearly as many keepers. Some very very nice fish to be brought home by some of the guys with many fish in the 3-4-5lb category. Big fish of the day was about 7 1/2 lbs. I put 3 in the box and the boy put in a beautiful 3-3 1/2 lb sea bass! (Wifey is very happy about that one!) Great to meet some new guys and "Sullivan" aka Joe had his limit and I think there was one or 2 more guys w a limit. Again, a very nice day on the water, and as always a big thanks to Capt Ron and crew.

Oh and Capt Ron.... Don't tell Shrimpy how many I dropped today!!! :eek:

Funny you should bring that up.....Didn't want to mention it in my report but since you opened the door. From my view, I was front row watching, the one fish that had your rod bent in half and got away was sad but when it happened two more times, I started lighting candles for you!! :D Steve has some fuel now. LOL
