Paul had another Open Boat trip today. On board we had long time customers Michael and Paul. They were joined by new comers Tony and his son Drew. Paul sailed north and worked the rough bottom. The crew got off to a good start and fished thru the short Fluke to put 5 keepers in the box. With the loss of the tide and wind the Fluke bite died, so we headed off to deeper water where the guys got their legal limit of Seabass. With a breeze and a decent drift toward the end of the day the guys added another 4 Fluke to the catch. For the day we finished with Seabass, 2 Ling and 9 Fluke. The largest Fluke at 24" was caught by young Drew. More than 40 short Fluke were released. It was another good day with a good crew. :):):)
