Party Boat Angler new big pool leader

After being hit last Monday the big pool is already up to $2630 and today Glenn Seiber from South Amboy took the lead with a 29 inch 8# 6oz fluke. We tried the ocean first thing this morning and found a few fis including this big one but not enough to stay. Fishing was not as good as it has been yet some did OK. It was a nice day and conditions were ok but the keepers were spread apart.

Thanks for a great day on the water captain. I can never say enough good things about the Angler. Leaves early, gets back when it gets back, the mates are top notch, the crowd is almost always super friendly and fun to be around.

I thought I was in for a tough day when I dropped what felt like a pretty big fluke. There was a Net standing by waiting for me to drag that bad boy up and he came undone right before we could see him.

My second should be keeper took two dives right at the net but Jimmy snagged him the third time I got him to the top. Hit the ruler at 23". Seemed like all the keepers today were of good size. I ended up with two nice keepers for myself and we had a nice fish fry tonight.

Hope to get out at least one more fluke trip this year.
