Sailed with a full 6 man crew on an open trip today for fluke.
Started off with a fast drift but picked a few keepers in the first 20 minutes, then after that it was basically a grind all day... We hopped around to different pieces and picked either at shorts, a few keepers, or wound up with very few bites...
Lots of boat traffic today - so lots of competition on the bottom.
Wound up with 12 keepers out of maybe 50 fluke, as well as 3 keeper seabass.. About half of our keepers were in the 3-5# range.
Nice day, picky action, but we still wound up putting a catch together!
