Sorry for the late report again. The internet was down all day here.
Well not much to report today. It was super hot to start. We broke the inlet at 8am and headed to the reef. We had some wind and we had a ok drift but the fish just didnt want to eat. I had 5 shorts for the day. Dad got 3 shorts and 1 keeper. Nothing big. It was 18in on the nose. Oh and i got a monster skate. We tried just gulp. gulp and spearing, gulp and squid, gulp and bunker, and gulp and mackerel. Nothing worked well. The boat was moving but idk. Just wasnt happening. Capt Will moved all over from the reef to down the beach. The water looked better today too. So idk. We only stayed for the first trip since the fishing was so bad. But i talked to Ryan and the afternoon trip was a wash out besides one real nice 7.7 pound keeper. The only fish on the boat. They even came in early due to the weather.
Tomorrow is another day and we will be back at it in the AM. Ill even wear a different shirt tomorrow!:D.
On a side note my ankle keeps swelling up big time. Its one i messed up in a car crash 2 years back. Had to ice it tonight. So idk whats thats about.
