I wanted to run for mako but boss insisted on tuna. Hudson has ice bergs and nearest real good water was down off Maryland or Virginia... Looked at all kinds of sat shots and found two places that could hold. My budy went inshore little north of fingers and collected two about 35 inches.
I ran farther to Tower/ Bacardi neighborhood. Marked tons of bait and fish but they wouldn't eat. I moved away from the bait then the fish turned on right as sun was breaking horizon. 44 inch fish hit deck, then a real fat "over", next was a 45 inch, we released another over as we were at limit there, then several unders around 35 inches we let go hoping to catch our limit fish closer to that 45 inch size. It shut off at 7Am and we never did fill that last spot. Still a good trip.

Nice. Can anyone shed some light whether there better/warmer water is on its way to Hudson/toms/Lindy?

Don't remember such a late start to our local northern nj canyons in at least 5-6 years 😔

There was a tiny thread of water by the Lindy, to spencer but reports were pretty sad from there. I see some good stuff way out that might make it here before too long but havn't been able to get enough days of how fast or even if it is headed this way.

That's what I am hoping for

Do you have to pay for all the satellite info?

What websites are recommended?

You can do Rutgers cool room for raw shots. I use three pay services as well. Boss has million dollar boat that sucks lots of fuel to him its worth it to be able to have very detailed info...

Somebody asked. No we don't charter this boat. Licensed to but this one is strictly private...

Well inshore he did two 35 inch fish and a very cold mahi... Some intel indicates that they could be well in side of that are a (reasorish) all the way to Olly's.
