They call them death ships because they kill the fishing and today we had 7 of them go around Sandy Hook. I guess depending on your point of view they could be called conservation ships as they save many fluke. It has been like this for years and I Know it will not change.
I looked around and only found a few keepers till the tide changed and although it was not good we started to catch some fluke. Jigging seamed best today with Bill Karg from Millington taking the pool and he and his Brother Tom had 7 keepers in the last two drifts. Billy in the bow went from none to three on the last drift and a Young man on the side had back to back keepers.
We Fished late to put some more fish in the boat.
The radio is making Thursday sound like a wash out and I will decide Tomorrow if we will shape up.
