The boys had a great trip this morning catching some Fluke. Started in the back bay where it only took 5 minutes before the first keeper was boarded. After working the back for two hours we already had 7 in the box with dozens of throw backs, but when the wind switched out of the east it made everything much more tougher. The rest of the day we jumped around from spot to spot but only came up with shorts so we packed it in for the day.
Want to wish all the fathers out there a Happy Father's Day and hope you had a great day also a SPECIAL Happy Father's Day to my dad and Captain of Eveningtide Charters thank you for throwing me on a boat when I was in diapers and handed me a rod, without you I wouldn't of grown to be the bad ass fisherman I am today and your favorite first mate.

Father's Day morning charter report:
Took Joe and his wife's family plus their friends out fluke fishing this morning. We headed straight back to where we caught fish yesterday and started picking away with some keepers plus shorts. What made it difficult was the drift, there wasn't much movement so it made fishing a challenge. After our honey hole died off we bounced around to a few places before packing it in for the day. We had a lot of fun with them today and lots of laughs to go around.

Father's Day afternoon trip report:
Another 6 family charter for Fluke today and with both dad and grandpa enjoying their holiday. We started off trolling for bluefish to get the kids pumped with action on the rods but with the strong East winds we couldn't do much so we headed to the back of staten island and sheltered ourselves from the wind so we can drift for some Fluke. After milling around there for four hours we managed to come away with three more keepers. The sun was starting to set and the bite died off so it was time to call it a day.
