Had a real nice weekend and perfect weather to end the spring seabass season.

SAT: We had out all familiar faces and a real nice day. Had to stay on the hook all day once the tide line passed us because the current was ripping. The first part of the morning was really good and then it died off. so we picked up and moved, had good action once we stopped but then it slowed. we worked a bunch of pieces in one area and wound up with our boat limit of seabass, with a few ling, a flounder, and a few large sea robins.

Sun: we had out mostly new faces and one regular, and conditions were much different than yesterday. We were able to drift most of the day, and at some points literally just float because we had no wind, no current, no nothing. We did have a lot more bigger fish today, a few in the 4-5lb range. Had to work thru tons and tons of shorts, but we had action all day until we called it around 1. Anchored towards the end on a few spots to get the last few fish for our limit.

Sad to see the seabass season close, but now on to fluke, ling, cod and flounder - with a few tuna and shark trips in the mix.

we do have 2 spots open Sat, 6/25 for fluke, Sunday is booked.
