on YFT & BFT on the West coast? Watching videos from various long range F/V & they caught non-stop---on one the tuna were being boarded, I guess they might have been 27" & the deck was near covered...Here on the East Coast I think they'd have been C & R...Just seems a shame to decimate a school of near juvenile Yellowfin...When we were out on the Excel we got a few BFT's and the rest were LFT's and all the tuna were 30-40# except for Muldune's eye ball...just curious.....

I read somewhere 20 fish limit, only 2 Bluefin allowed in that 20 fish limit. I could have changed since last time I looked into it, but I know it was much much more than we are allowed.

I think LEGAL limits only apply to Bluefin tuna with permit needed too.
I don't think YFT, Long fin, Big Eye, etc. tuna have any legal specifications, just common sense.
