i found a four leaf clover at work today so i decided to try for some smallmouth.i caught four bass ranging from 4 to 9" small fish is better than no fish. the river was clear and running at middle to low level and loaded with crayfish all over the rocks everywhere, the smallmouth have plenty of food.an environmental company is removing the wood that the super storms deposited there, they have a skidder down there to help drag the big trees out of there. will have to wait untill they are done to see what it looks like.

I naileded a trout there by the bridge on that big pile. Not my brightest move, but totally worth it. Sounds like a good day
